I don't remember my last update!

Lately, life has been a bit dull. All my toys are under furniture. Toby has lost his magic, but we still play. Moms aren't home too much. Hopefully life will pick up.

Today after they played with me for a while, my moms went out and I was lonely, wondering where they were.

When they came back, I was napping, and they had bought me toys!

First, they bought me a new scratching post

Its nice and made out of natural fibers. Then mom sprinkled some cat nip on it and I rolled around on it and had so much fun!

Then she dumped out so many new jingle balls! See, they found out that I don't like soft toys that don't roll around and make noises. I have a lot of boring miceys, little puffs and rubber balls, but my favorite are the hard plastic ones that have bells inside, and I must have gotten 5 or 8 new ones! Yay!

So I'm quite content. They also bought me new, more shallow food dishes so I can get to all my food with ease.

I love you, Moms.

Last night I was playing in the livingroom and got into a gift bag. I thought it would be fun, but the handle got caught on my foot and I tried to get out of it. It made a loud noise that made me run...with the bag over my head stuck to my body!

I've never run that fast in my life! I ran from the living room to the bedroom, ran into something, and ran back again. I was a flash! Finally Renee got the bag off me, but I ran and hid under the bed for about a half-hour. Finally I came out and cuddled with Nikkiah to sooth my stress.

Erica and Nikkiah laughed at me, because it looked like a gift bag was running all over the house. I didn't think it was that funny.

I applied to a cat rating community, I'm so nervous!

Today was..wheew...exciting

First I woke up to being petted by Erica, saying sweet things and giving me courage for the operation
And then Renee put me in the carrier with my blankie and took me to the doctor. He weighed me *8.8 pounds, he called me HUSKY the asshole* and figured out I'm older than he thought, so my new birthday is June 11, same as Renee's, so we can have a double-birthday.

So now I have to be on grown up food.
So they cleaned my ears cause they said I was itchy. And they gave me shots and screened my blood to make sure that the anesthesia didn't cause any problems. They shaved my privates a little, but when I came home, I was a loop-d-loop and didn't notice. I am not allowed to have much food or play or be too active right now because of the medicine they gave me.

I go back in a few weeks for follow-up shots. I don't want to cuddle too much, just chill and lick my paws. i'm still the same old Buddy though, except now I'm without balls!!!

Today, I go to get "the surgery", as everyone keeps saying. I don't know what is going on.

All I know is that there's a cat-carrier with my blanket in it, and I'm going to a doctor today, and everyone says I'll never be the same.

I have a new bathroom. I like it okay, it's bigger than my last. I have more privacy, which was never an issue for me, but my parents like it because it keeps the litter inside instead of all over the floor, and they don't have to look at me going when they're going *because, you see, my bathrom is right in front of their toilet*

This morning Erica got up and went into the bathroom as her morning ritual, and I came in and gave her hand kisses. When isn't it a good time for kisses?

Then I layed against the tub and purred while she finished and then I played while she was in the shower.

Today should be fun. New bathroom, new litter...

I'm hoping someone will find all my favorite toys which I've already lost under the furniture, and maybe give me some treats.

Home today

Today was my first day at my new home with my new parents, my sister and her wife. Today was fun.

First I had a car trip that was long!
Then I came to my new house, and everyone was so excited to see me! First I hunched around for a few minutes, but soon I was right at home.

I was scoping out the house when everyone left, and I got cozy here. They came home with food and toys for me!

I've been petted and cuddled and played with all day, it's been so fun! Now I'm trying to find a good place to sleep.

I'm not in my new home yet, so I won't be updating until I come. My arrival date is scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 3.
